MSU at UNI (Past Game)

Looks like the line is about 6 in favor of UNI. That sounds reasonable but I think it has the potential to be another barn burner tonight. If MSU could sneak out with a win it would really put them in an excellent position with already having road wins at CU and ISU blue. However, this is probably a game that UNI needs to win much more than the Bears do. Especially with them playing it at home.

I think it will probably come down to rebounding and 3 point shooting. The team that wins those two battles will win this game.

I'd be surprised if this one doesn't come down to the wire...Our games against UNI (no matter location) always seem to come down to a couple plays at the end. It has really developed into a great conference rivalry!

Hoping for the Bears to steal one tonight in Cedar Falls!

UNI has not been a great rebounding team, if we can stay close in that category we will be alright. We have also had trouble when we have fallen in love with the three-pointer. We still need to shoot it well, but we can't be taking half of our shots from out there either. For UNI, ball protection and getting to the free throw line are more important. We play too close of games to give up easy baskets or have wasted possessions and this young team has had issues with those at times. We need to get to the line as well, and then make them, too. 7 attempts at Creighton wasn't enough.

6 points is about right. The UNI team has been playing with much better overall energy the last couple of games and will need to keep it going. This is a game UNI lost last year and needs to win to improve on last year AND to keep positive momentum going forward. A win for MSU puts them in a strong position to stay at the top of the conference for the rest of the season.

Not a must win for the Bears. But a win would go a long ways towards proving we belong with CU and WSU at the top of the Valley.

We need Weems to play big. Patterson will have a big size advantage inside and we need him to take advantage of that.

Looking forward to the game. It's on Fox Sports Midwest here which is usually a pretty well done production. Better than what our local station does.

To keep up in the Valley race it is a must win.

Home wins are a must win to KEEP in the Valley race. Road wins are what puts you on top at the end. Go Bears!
