No, that would have been dumb, no McIntosh, no chance. Plus betting on or against your team is bad faith.

I honestly am going to take UNI plus the points, Wichita State has won huge for the last couple weeks, at some point, that won't continue or at least to the large margin it has been, hence, the play has to be Northern Iowa.

Basically anyone in the world who runs a gambling outfit must loooooove you.

Can UNI guard the 3 and ugly it up enough to keep it relatively close? If you say yes...then you have to like UNI + the points. If you say no and think Wichita controls tempo and won't be guardable from 3...then you have to like Wich St laying the points.

I have enough faith in Ben Jacobson to keep it close.

You do realize that lines are made based on who people are going to bet and what they think the game score will be according to their rankings ...and you do realize that people are going to take Wichita State and try to ride this out... So by me saying, take UNI and the points, I'm out of my mind? Any bet against a spread is a toss up to begin with...I'm just going with the smarter play with the line being a bit inflated a bit and that I really think UNI is better than most give them credit for.

The line is significantly lower than WSU's average MOV at home. Hard to call that 'inflated.'

Your rationale is a bet-taker's dream.

I am sorry, but either you are taking the shocker side out of pride or you do not get it...

I think the play is the Panthers +17.5. Panthers are playing teams close on the road and are 6-7 ATS on the road (given Shox 10-4 ATS at home). I just believe that teams will have an off shooting night from time to time or can't blow teams out every time out on the court. Look at ISU @ MSU this past Wednesday. It's a GAMBLE.

But just so your feelings don't get hurt, "WOO KENPOM, SHOCKERS, MARGIN OF VICTORY, GREGG MARSHALL IS THE BEST!"

This, is somewhat reasonable.

This, is how casinos make billions.

Well Played...and of course, like clockwork, cdizzle couldn't help himself...dude, you have to give up this Wichita>everyone mentality on here, it's hard to take your real points serious, when oh there's a "only funny to you WSU Rocks! comment." Here is some real truth for you, there are other opinions out there, and if someone has one, just say I disagree and here is why....
