Lakes you suck at selling people on what you want, you are amazingly good at driving them away. NDSU has a lot to offer but you focus on the one thing that some don't really care about, football.

NDSU is a flagship university in its state, it is a high level research university, the school has been successful across the board in athletics finishing in the top 100 of the Directors cup in the past three years. It has an athletics budget of around $17 million, has great facilities and is investing $35 million into its basketball facilities. It is a school that is well supported and has a lot of potential.

I understand NDSU has some geographical drawbacks and perhaps some want the MVC to maintain balance but the school has some things going for it.

Our arenas aren't big enough for the 5000 fans that the Bizzzzon would bring to every road game...

The 12,000 fans at the NCAAs in the Metrodome would be a lot more impressive if it were actually true. There were 15k there that day, so either NDSU had 80% of the fans while Michigan State, Kansas, W Virginia, Dayton, BC, USC, and Robert Morris combined for 20%, or this is BS.

Sean Keeler tweeted that a MVC adminsitrator told thim they were 90/10 sure CU was leaving.

When I asked Sean who the MVC might be considering, he replied:

“@SeanKeeler: @MVCfans Milwaukee, Denver, Loyola (Ill.), Wright St, N Dakota St & Nebraska-Omaha have all been kicked around.”
