The Valley make a statement? Are you kidding? The last time the Valley made a statement about officiating was after a game in St. Louis a few years ago. Booker Woodfox fumbled an inbounds pass with 1.9 seconds on the clock. He picked up the ball, dribbled twice, turned around and still got the shot off before time expired. The Valley made a statement supporting the officials and timekeeper. Two years later, Elgin told Marshall (off the record) that a mistake had been made.
