Barring INSU doesn’t lay a goose egg against a non-D1 school on Sunday. Big matchup coming up on Nov 30th between INSU vs Drake.

Marcus Domask is very good, SIU doesn't appear to be great. OT win over Cal Baptist with Domask scoring 32 of their 60 points.

Actually 64 points.

Birds showed fight in the second half after completely laying down in the first half. KSU transfer Luke Kasubke DNP due to a stomach bug. He's been a solid contributor so far that could've helped but certainly would not have pushed them to a W.

Birds play the loser of Akron/WKU tomorrow at 10 AM CT.

KJ Williams is the real deal.

The only team LSU has played this year that doesn’t currently have a triple digit KenPom rating is K State, who beat them. Just saying.

And he still netted a double double including 5 offensive rebounds. I have thought all along that both he and Morehead’s Johni Broome who transferred to Bruce Pearl/Auburn would struggle against SEC timber especially with both having shown the ability to sulk if they get smacked a few times and don’t get the calls and you’ll get murdered in the SEC night in and night out doing that against a lot of big bodies. The K-State game was a test in my mind and he aced it. To be continued.

Missouri State with a bad loss to UNC Wilmington in Nassau. Valley has really been struggling this week in the MTE's.

Yep. He’s gone. They’re barely competent. Tonight’s game against South Dakota State featured the point guards scoring 0 point and the entire team attempting ZERO free throws. Attempting! Zero!?! Here’s a thought, attack the rim once in a while? Back to the point, there’s no way he survives.

They have a former alum who’s won 3 NAIA National Championships and multiple coach of the year awards. He did not get an interview last time despite being recommended by both Homer and Bryce.

What's his name, so I can look him up?

The alum's name is Greg Tonagel. He coaches at Indiana Wesleyan and supposedly really wanted the Valpo job and was hurt he wasn't even interviewed. Hopefully he wouldn't harbor any hard feelings this time around. Supposedly the job was offered first to lead assistant Roger Powell who turned it down (again this is rumor and conjecture) and the job only went to Lottich because VU was desperate to "hire from within" to maximize it's chances of retaining Alec Peters and the core of Bryce's players for their final season. Peters got hurt late in Valpo's final year in the Horizon. Valpo missed the tournament and bowed out in the first round of the NIT. The roster was turned over to Lottich Valpo joined the MVC and not much has gone right since. Tonagel still has a fair number of supporters on our message board but at this point we're just desperate for anyone who can take the program back to respectability because what we have now is utterly embarrassing.
