This article specifically addresses NCAA Football, but the NCAA Division I Council decision on May 20,2020 will effect all NCAA sports.

Bradley announced they are allowing their Men's and Women's Basketball teams back on Campus June 8th for Summer workouts. A step in the right direction to have a season this year for Bradley.

Not hoops related but still significant MVC news. Expected and the right thing to do.

I don't know about others but UNI's volleyball schedule had been decimated by other leagues playing only league games (especially the Big 10, had Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois x2 on the schedule). I think limiting travel and playing only league schools is prudent for VB and Soccer this fall.

Side note, how is Loyola going to play any games with the over the top quarantine rule the Mayor put in place? If they can't go anywhere without quarantining for 14 days and nobody can go there without quarantining for 14 days, I don't know how its possible that they can do anything.

Big Ten football won't be happening this fall. Wonder if the other conferences will follow?

Pac-12 has also canceled non-conference basketball by pushing back their season start date to January. NCAA Basketball decision makers need to start coming up with creative solutions now or we'll lose another NCAA Tournament.

I used to be optimistic, but I have serious doubts that we will have any major sports at all this school year.

NCAA needs to have a tournament this year for the money generated. They can't lose 2 March Madness in a row. My worry is that mid-major conferences won't play or can't afford to play without buy games from the power leagues, which then leads to an NCAA tourney that excludes a lot of leagues.
