Dana Ford was the lead recruiter for Keane..........Niagra, Oklahoma State, Rhode Island, Oral Roberts, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech were also in the mix with Keane.

In the end though it was supposedly between ISU and Penn St. It's possible that both were and this site is reporting Dana as the lead. Supposedly a huge steal for us according to more knowledgable people in the basketball world. Him being reclassified to 2012 probably had a lot to do with us landing him along with Dana and Dan. Can't really ask for anything better this late in the recruiting game to fill the void that Moore left.

Muller said he would only try and sign a PG this year if he could fill in and have an immediate impact. So I would expect to see a lot of Keane next year. This is a big pickup for ISU and we are laready seeing a good impact from our new staff.

We are also rumored to be playing at Louisville next season and are potentially in the works for a home/home with Murray St. that would start at their place next year. Murray's last game to be schedule is between us and North Texas.

He was reclassified to 2012 and signed an LOI with the redbirds yesterday. Dana Ford was supposedly the lead recruiter on him.

Redbird Nation is very excited.

Good get! Maybe the Jays can get Ford to lead their recruiting next year. :D

Why? Does he have a son getting ready for college hoops? I kid, I kid ;)

I really, really like the name Kaza Keane. I hope he can adequately replace the talent and potential of Nic Moore. Losing talented players like him and Rice does not do this conference any favors (as a whole).

Here is a YouTube link to one of his highlight videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVNVMM6p5ic

It's shorter and to the point if you just want a quick feel for what he looks like as a player. IMO he is a short 6'1 or he is playing with some big dudes. It's really tough to gauge his size in a video. Also someone else tell me if I'm crazy but did they duplicate a couple of those 3 pointers or are they simply that similar in appearance? Looks like a solid player
[Insert snappy comeback]

Too bad about his knee.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

So is Moore getting offers anywhere? If he doesn't get a BCS scholie can he come back to Normal?

Answering my own question. There was a tweet that he was down to Notre Dame, Purdue and Illinois. I'm surprised by that some.

From what I've heard, Notre Dame is not that interested.

Word at Twitter is that he is on a visit to SMU as we speak. Wonder why on Earth he would be down there?

I'm curious to see what would happen because ISU only released Nic to BCS programs and SMU won't officially be a part of the Big East until 2013-14.
