However, while Ray got the WSU players motivated, Marshall's still playing a deep bench in this one, early. We had four freshmen on the court with 12 to play in the first half.

34 point drubbing for Drake, with tons of playing time for WSU's deep bench. Marshall played 15, and only Nurger and walkon JRS went scoreless.

I have a feeling Ray will probably keep his foot away from his mouth in press conferences moving forward, but I appreciate the motivation he gave to our 6-13 guys.

Drake's got some promising pieces in the future with Timmer (FR) and Enevold (SO), though. I could see Timmer as the best PG in the Valley in 2017.
