Problem is, we weren't going inside out. Go inside first, if we get doubled, then go outside. We weren't doing that for most of this game, we were passing around the arc and then shooting a 3. Not good...

I know your pain and that is exactly how I felt after the loss against Creighton.....

Creighton was only a two possession favorite. It really wasn't THAT big of an upset.

Yeah, but in the eyes of the committee, this is a BAD loss. Fortunately, it's only Creighton's first bad loss but the ship has a few holes in it now.

I agree, but the poster was asking what warranted a court storming. I'm saying a win over a conference opponent that was a 6 point favorite doesn't.

I think that was 2010, I don't believe we got ranked in 2009.

You're right. Feb. 23, 2010.

UE's last win over a top 25 team was at #23 Butler, 11/27/10

Court storming is usually pretty impulsive. I am betting most Evansville fans were surprised to win despite the spread. Plus it sounded like a pretty good battle for most of the game. That just adds to the excitment of the moment.

Let them have fun and good for them.

Heck I almost stormed the living room floor when I saw the final score. Only because it gives the Shox an edge. At least for tonight. LOL

Dear Creighton,

Why can't you shoot that poorly from three against us? Hope you can make it up to us in St. Louis.

Sincerely,

The Redbirds

If UNI wins tomorrow night, the conference tournament is going to be even more of a "dilly".

Regardless of UNI winning I think this realistically opens the door for another team to win in St. Louis. I had written off the loss to UNI as a fluke, but after this, it solidifies Creighton as being a beatable team in St. Louis. We might actually see 3 after all.

I hope you are right about 3 teams Bird man, we all know the alternative too well.
