Inconsistent officiating

I could get the two best referees in the world to ref a MVC game and the losing fans will whine.

I have heard the "upper tier" officials (John Higgins, Tom Eades, etc.) get upwards of $2000 per game. Plus, since they assure the Valley of a certain number of games, they get a bonus of close to $20,000 at the conclusion of the season. Add that pay to the other games these guys do in other leagues and you may consider picking up a rule book and whistle and give it a shot....

Agreed Kyle. All fans think their league has the worst officials. They don't. Just varies from game to game honestly.

I know someone said they wouldn't like to come back as an official but the pay checks are pretty sweet...and also totally out of control. The leagues need to stand up and not pay such ridiculous prices for officials. Of course, they won't.

I know Kissinger was on the crew, but I believe Steed was as well, for the end of the Missouri State @ UNI game where they felt like traveling and 3-second violations no longer needed to be enforced.

Former AD Rick Hartzell made/makes more officiating that he did as the AD at UNI....by a large margin.
