I really feel like the league is starting to turn the corner. WSU, CU, and UNI are acquiring some pretty serious talent and other coaches like Lusk seem like they're going to get it done too.

Just curious, but what has Lusk done for you to think he knows what he is doing?

He may or may not know, but he has a lot of work to do before you can determine tha, IMO...

While I do not have any evidence, just gut feel, it seems to me that the Valley has some very fine coaches right now. I won't name names, but there are some "good heads", to use an old fashioned expression.

I'm with Ricky. I also think the talent of the players is much better right now than it has been for about five years.

Losing six out of ten BB's certainly bares that out. Awesome talent.

I never said that talent was evenly dispersed throughout the league...

You're probably right, but I feel like a 9-7 record was a pretty good effort for what the bears had returning. I guess I just like the guy; he seems like the king of guy I would want to play for. He's got some pretty good young talent to work with, also. As do the Trees.

Incredibly, the last time two MVC teams were in the regular season AP ranking at the same time was January 8, 1982 when Tulsa was #18 and WSU was #16.

best case scenario...

WSU loses in the semifinal and ISU (red) beats Creighton in the MVC championship.

Three teams dancing:)

No, no, no. Beat case scenario is MSU beating CU in the semis and WSU in the final!
