Only one of the 32 combinations would put MSU in 8th.

Saturday winners would be:
EVAN (over MSU), DU (over WSU), ILSU (over BRAD), UNI (over SIU), INSU (over CU).

About a 1.3% chance of that happening according to RealTimeRPI's GAMER system.

In the perfect storm where Drake would finish 10-8 and everyone else at 9-9, MSU loses the tie-breaker round robin:

4th-Indiana State: 5-3 (wins 2nd mini rd robin vs ISUr and UE, 3-1)
5th-Illinois State: 5-3 (2nd in 2nd mini rd robin 2-2)
6th-Evansville: 5-3 (last in 2nd mini rd robin 1-3)
7th-Northern Iowa : 3-5 (either in this spot by 1st rd robin or by winning 2nd tie-breaker over MSU)
8th-Missouri State: 2-6 (doesn't win any of the tie-breakers)

Getting swept by Illinois State and possibly Evansville will cripple MSU in any tie-breaker scenarios
