I believe Baller is posting under the name WooHoo nowadays...

If that's him he's certainly been a lot more subdued. And I've got no problem with him on this board if he stops posting hit and run inflammatory remarks.

Are little digs acceptable?

There are some on this fine forum, who seem to specialize in little, pointless digs.

Just wondering.

I honestly don't remember seeing it either. Aargh does have a habit of using hyperbole in trying to express his points however.

Well, I certainly was not accusing you of anything.

Are you declaring that you specialize in little, pointless digs?

I'm not totally gone, just taking a break. I love to throw barbs out, but I also try to be insightful and share my opinion. A few people thought I was baiting too much, it's easier simply if I just don't even read. Logged on this morning to catch up, saw my name mentioned so I just thought I'd say hello. Now that the regular season is over, maybe a few posters could try and grow skins a little thicker than that of an onion. At the end of the day, everyone here is simply debating the outcomes silly games. Everone have a great Sunday.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

No not at all although I thought that was the implication. My apologies. It's pretty easy to misinterpret things on a message board. But my main point was pretty much all of us will occasionally let fly with a dig.

I am glad you are still on the board MVC John. Your insight and sense of humor would be missed.

Hell, my school isn't even in the MVC and I like this board. We are in the MVFC and have a long history with a lot of the MVC schools. There may be some trash talk at times, but quite often, there's also a level of respect for the success that teams have had (SIU '02, SIU '07, UNI '10, etc.) , and the national attention that has been brought to mid-major level basketball (and to a lesser extent FCS football) because of it.

I'll generally root for my fellow MVFC schools (ISUr, ISUb, MSU, UNI, SIU) over the rest of the conference, but when it comes down to NCAA tournament time...I'm just a mid-major fan, and I'll root for anyone from my (Summit League) or your conferences.

Welcome to the forum.

Don't use the term mid-major.

Really? I think most of us here still use the term. Great run by the Leathernecks this year --- I think Jim Molinari has the program headed in the right direction. I hope you guys get an invite to the CIT/CBI.
