hahahaha...you must be confusing us with the ACC, where 8-8 gets you a bid. This is the MVC, a conference where 25 wins gets you an NIT berth.

If UNI goes 13-5 in MVC and gets to 22 wins before STL with a SOS in the top 10 nationally and the wins I mentioned, they'll get in.

Sorry, it's going to take me some time on that one...still recovering from the Jank era.

Redbird schedule appears to be complete. Just waiting to hear the date on the Western Michigan game and who we will play at home for South Padre. The two games in South Padre should be on CBS Sports Network. I would say fairly successful scheduling.

2012-13
Quincy (Exh.) Nov. 5th
Marquette (Exh. Closed Scrimmage) TBA
Lewis University (Exh.?) TBA?
UCSB Nov. 12th
@Drexel Nov. 15th
South Padre Invite (2 of Farleigh Dickinson, Delaware St., Prairie View A&M) Nov. 18, 20?
UAB South Padre Nov 23rd
Northwestern/TCU South Padre (winners/losers) Nov 24th
@Louisville Dec. 1st
Wyoming (MWC/MVC Challenge) Dec. 4th
Western Michigan (Return Bracketbuster) TBA
Morgan State Dec. 16th
@Dayton Dec. 19th
Austin Peay Dec. 22nd
@Bracketbuster Feb.

bonus.....(cuz 2013-14 is shaping up nicely too.)

2013-14
Drexel Nov. 12th
Dayton Dec. 7th
@Northwestern TBA
@Oakland TBA
Bracketbuster Feb.

Every team but Northern Colorado and George Mason played in a post-season tourney last year, and Mason finished with an 84 RPI but was by-passed for the NIT and elected not to play in the other tourneys. All of the Battle 4 Atlantis possible opponents were NCAA or NIT participants last year. Wartburg is a D-III 15 minutes from Cedar Falls, cheaper than a MEAC or SWAC and no damage to the RPI.

I agree. This could be the best non conference schedule a Valley team has had in years. Now we just have to win some of them.

MSU's schedule is pretty solid, although I have to admit that I've never even heard of any of the first three schools listed. :D
