WSU and MSU fans, how bout we make a new league?

Are you sick and tired of the havenots enforcing their will on the MVC when they add nothing? I am and I think Creighton is too. Let's form an 8 team league. CU, WSU, MSU, ORU will be a good start. I'd be open to a Dakota school or two given their status as the top dog in their states and good resources. Give me Air Force and Denver. It might not look sexy, but that league would have a strong RPI and be better off than the dead weight we're supporting now.

If WSU were to be part of a new league formation, Creighton would be the only school from the valley invited, except maybe ISUR. After that look at Northern Colorado, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Wyoming, Arizona, Arizona State, Northern Arizona, Utah State, Utah, UNLV, and BYU.
That makes a 14 member conference, minimal travel, and highly competitive, but with enough dregs to avoid the Big East Paradox. Mix the upper mids, quasi, and high majors to finally start to break the football bias in basketball, and BOOM goes the dynamite.
Whatever happens in the future, CU and WSU need to stick together, if for nothing other than the hate they feel towards each other. Hate is the glue that makes the relationship so great. Both bases love to hate on each other, but would root for the other team if needed (say a CU KU match-up).

You might want to check what MSU pays coaches when you consider which schools are the "have nots" in the league. ORU??? the Dakota schools??? Yikes!! May as well add SEMO and UMKC to that crappy schedule.

One of the recent entries in the MVC has F4 an E8 and a S16?? Hmmm. I did not know that.

Oh, that's right. History only started when certain schools joined the league. I keep forgetting that.
