Annual Top 144 countdown

I didn't see a thread for the annual countdown. They're into the 70's now. I tell you what, if our #4 school is in the 80's as shown here the conference is in for a bad year.

That statement doesn't make much sense to me either. The way I look at it is quality wins within the conference. If they are going to pre-rank the MVC to have 7 teams within the top 150, 5 of which in the top 100, then that means a lot of quality wins from within, which is only a good thing for the conference. Think about it. Over half of your conference games will be against a quality opponent.

#140 In St
#109 Drake
#96 Eville
#84 WSU

-still three more to go which will no doubt be UNI, Illinois St and Creighton.

Yeah, I guess I didn't look at that right. Seven teams in the top 150 is really good (although with SIU's schedule and likely record they could be a monster drag on RPI). I guess I expected the top 4 being 20-60 this year. I can see why WSU is where they are in the preseason with losing 5 top scorers.

I would expect 2 in the Top 50 (UNI & CU), 1 from 50-75 (ISU-red), and 2 from 76-100 (WSU & EU).
New coach in Bloomington and loss of nice little PG, and WSU lost a lot of experience, depth, scoring.

Here's my ranking (just a general one):
CU - 22
UNI - 45
ISU (Red) - 67
WSU - 78
UE - 99
