Evansville to the Horizon

One thing that keeps me from saying that UE should be "kicked out" is their attendance. In fact, last year UE's attendance was actually higher then that of schools that are anywhere from 5 to 7 times larger. In fact some of those fans from larger schools wth poor attendence are the ones calling for UE's expulsion within this thread.

The attendance numbers, for UE and the schools under them, from the MVC site:

I find it interesting that Indiana St and Evansville both have better attendance that some of the teams on the above list.

Back when they were dominating DII in the 1970's it was a big deal to have Evansville tickets. It used to be asked anytime someone in Evansville got divorced, "Who gets the season tickets?"

That may be the case from way back when but looking only at Thepurplecode, now when people get divorced, it's a fight over minor league hockey tickets.

UE outsold the hockey team last season by 350 or so a game. Most of the tickets early on were free to the hockey games to build interest

that is what this thread became. It was time for it to end as 8 pages ago the AD at UE said it wasn't true.
