Now that's a duo that should be able to recruit well in Illinois........

I think he is a great hire as an assistant in a BCS league. If Manhattan, KS is the abyss of college basketball then that is fine by KStaters considering that they are consistently the second best program in that state.

K state is 3rd after WSU? I'm just curious what you are basing that on? NCAA appearances?

Until KU decided to make a run in the tourney I would have taken the shockers as the best in state.

That is simply insane. There is not a legitimate rationale in the world to have made that conclusion.

WSU has a nice program, but it is the third-best in the state. There is no head-to-head advantage for WSU against K-State.

K-State's record against all current MVC schools, according to the KSU media guide:
Bradley - 2-2
Creighton - 7-8
Drake - 20-6
Evansville - 1-1
Illinois State - 2-0
Indiana State - 1-0
Missouri State - 0-2
UNI - 6-1
Southern Illinois - 7-0
Wichita State - 20-11
