Too bad we can't follow the A-10 and have multiple national networks televise our games during the season along with leaving the Bracket Busters.

So...people bitch we don't get enough games on TV - so the conference sets a record number of games on TV in a season....

then people bitch that the games aren't on multiple networks.... :Bam:

It's a record number of games on ESPN networks, which includes games streamed online on ESPN3. That's not the same as actually being on TV.

23 games on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU (although many of the ESPN3 games will be on local/regional TV somewhere)

Does anyone know if any of the Battle 4 Atlantis games will be televised? I'd assume some of these early season tournaments will be televised for MVC teams

Some people only read the headlines, while others read the fine print.

I don't understand why UNI posters have such a hard time understanding the MVC's TV contracts. I had a lengthy exchange with Valleychamp a couple of months ago on this same topic.

Yes, just like they were last year when Illinois St was in the same tourney. I'll never forget watching those games because they literally took place in the hotel ballroom (you could see the chandeliers on the ceiling and walls).

Illinois State was not in this tourney, and I would hardly say that there were "chandeliers hanging down".

I saw this yesterday, and I wondered how they managed this. Is there something with our deals that preclude us from getting deals from other networks as well? It would be great if we could get something on NBC sports or CBS Sports on top of our ESPN games.
