Sycs at Bruins and Aces at Irish

Really looking looking forward to seeing how a couple of valley teams compete against the big boys. I wouldn't be surprised if one or both push them to the final minutes. I'm not sure if Shabazz is playing for ucla but that could impact ISU's chances.

Indiana State is on FSN, at least according to my Direct TV guide, at 10:00 Central time tonight.

The Aces are on ESPN3 at 1:00 tomorrow.

Indiana State lost 86-59, we're young, UCLA's height and speed were too much for ISU. Early season games might be rough for us, but hopefully by January we're playing a little better. With 7 new guys it may take a while to get in the groove of playing well together.

We definitely need to work on free throws and taking better shots though.

Missed free throws in the first half stood out to me. Even with the lopsided final score, it was only 63-52 with about 7 minutes to play. With a little time to develop some cohesiveness, Sycs could be a handful in MVC play.
