WSU vs. DePaul Cancun Challenge 11/20

I really like WSU to roll here. I'm not convinced that Depaul is very good and WSU is better than I expected.

I'm not as convinced after the last two games. WSU will be a team that will lose one or two that will leave your head scratching this year. I just hope this isn't one of them.

Don't think that was a very good half by the Shockers but DePaul played much worse. Think that if Marshall can make some adjustments and they stop a few of the silly fouls, they should be able to take care of business and move on to the winners bracket. Winning ugly is still winning.

Haven't watched any of it, but looking at the half time score I am a little surprised. However, UNI lost to a bad DePaul team in 2010 and I think we know how that ended.

I think the Shox start to pull away a little bit in the second half. The conference cannot afford losses like this from a Top 4 team, and I don't think we will have one in this game.

Shox did what they had to. make freethrows and they dominate. Good game overall

I hate to say this, but the Shockers are a REALLY good ugly-ball team. They will win if they can make the other team play ugly, even if the other team shoots 15 more free-throws (really bad reffing, DePaul had 7 or 8 straight possessions that ended with trips to the line).

DePaul seems terrible though. Still, we held them to 30% from the field, 25% from the 3PT line.

Besides the win I'm not sure how you consider that a good game by the Shocks. We looked awful in almost every facet of the game. We play like that vs. Iowa and we will get our first loss.

Another double digit win and the Shockers played horrible…I guess.

It's starting to look like a trend. We just don't have the offensive efficiency that we had the past three years, but the defense is outstanding!
