More big games coming up this week. UNI versus Louisville has my curiosity peaked.

Solid day for the MVC. Didn't really expect Bradley to win, but Evansville and Indiana State, even SIU picking up road wins are good and WSU taking care of a Big East foe is nice. Illinois State and Creighton dealt with lesser foes as expected.

The Valley is 4th in conference W/L%, but the SoS is pathetic.

While rpi in November is meaningless, the Valley is 19th in conference RPI, while it is 4th in conference W/L%. We really need some of the teams we've beat to start winning some games.

SIUC looked good tonight, aside from the thuggery in the scuffle they had with their "sister" school. I am more than a bit concerned that they might take a couple of games away from the Bears this year and that would pretty embarassing. Good to watch a broadcast and see Barry Hinson on the sidelines. Good man.

Great night for the Valley. A very quick synopsis: The MVC Report - Valley goes 6-1 on Tuesday night

"Conference RPI" is just an average of all of the RPIs in the conference. Ours is skewed up for two reasons. First, Drake and MSU haven't won a single game against D1 competition yet. Second, their respective opponents' only wins were the wins over Drake/MSU. This won't last long... especially since one of MSU's losses was to San Diego St.

UNI's RPI should be trending upwards here soon.
