You mean in DSM, right? Isn't the Knapp Center the only MVC venue you haven't visited?

I visited Knapp two years ago when your senior (from Kansas) lit us up with about 23 threes.

I am thinking that I never got to UNI's arena.

That's basically the travel plan they had for Air Force in Colorado Springs. It doesn't make sense to charter when the nearest airport to Ft. Collins is Denver which is a hub airport for several commercial airlines.

well, no... Loveland airport is in Fort Collins and should handle most Charter Jets of the size a team would travel on...

Sorry when December 13 rolls @ UE looks for commercial flights over charter.

Should have guessed that a Wichitahn would know the airports of the United States better than I do. :Bam:

All I know for sure is that UE flew commercial on their last trip to Colorado, and that would be more likely than taking a 16 hour bus trip.

Tends to happen when the day job is designing jets...

My comment was simply that while there may be many reasons for Evansville not chartering a plane to the game...lack of a nearby airport isn't it.

Does Evansville charter aircraft for games at all anymore?

They do when it is more economical. I believe that Southwest has great fares from Nashville into Denver with advance purchase.

Evansville usually charters to all the Valley cities, except Terre Haute and Carbondale, to which they bus.

Looks like the Aces will have 24 hours to acclimate to the air, meaning, we will probably go to the bench early and often:
