SIU rallys to win at Green Bay, 72-70, for their third road win of the year; we only had two total road wins last season.

Go Dawgs!

SIU and BU continue to be the surprise of the league. And we may not see 1 of them play on Thursday in St. Louis.

IMO the two teams that are currently Thursday locks are MSU and ISUb.

ISUb has some upside as Manny Arop gets better integrated into the offense, but I can't see them finishing 6th or better.

The top 3 are pretty sewn up at this point: CU, WSU and IlSU (tho I think IlSU at this point is vulnerable, and could be overtaken given the right situations for other teams) the next 3 are anyone's guess, imo. Let conference play sort us out!

In any event, GO DAWGS! :)

I've become a Barry Hinson fan. Who would have thought that SIU would get to conference play with 3 road wins (who cares who against a road win is a road win, especially for this SIU team) and potentially a sub 100 RPI. I think Barry might be able to pull SIU out of that deep deep hole dug for them in shorter order than anyone could have guessed.

Just think if they would have pulled out a win at WKU.

I always liked Barry.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

He was the perfect hire for the Saluki situation. I was literally jumping for joy when I found out it was him instead of Bruce Weber or any other coached already associated with the Saluki's.

I am repeating myself, but I like him too.

I can see him being coach of the year. Finish at .500 and beat WSU and/or CU once and I think he will win the honor.

Of course, beating WSU might not be such a triumph.
