No gimmes in this league. Drake is fully capable of taking this one, as recent history clearly shows in Des Moines.

I'm a bit leery about this one but am hoping the team continues to mesh with the present group of players on the floor.

CJ Lufile didn't practice on Tuesday due to back spasms. Believe this is why he didn't play much on Sunday. So Shocks may only have 8 guys.

Recent history has seen Drake blown out by St. Mary's, escape North Carolina Central at home, and get routed by Bradley on the road. Those results are probably more relevant to the game than past years.

I remember Lewis Lloyd and Pop Wright taking on Wichita in a classic battle and effort for the Bulldogs, one of the best games I ever watched. Hopefully we see that effort tommorow night with some really good shooting.

I remember a game in Des Moines when Cheese Johnson was playing for the Shocks and I am pretty sure Lewis Lloyd was playing for Drake that the Shocks ended up losing like 114-109 or something like that. That game was quite the battle.

Eight will be more than enough.

Drake will be in single digits ten minutes into the game.

Drake is the only team I have yet to watch this year. So based on nothing more than just the last few years in Des Moines, I'm betting this is a grind out close azz game and I'm not looking forward to it.
