When someone looks at Illinois State in March, they aren't going to say "this team lost 6 league games, but fell flat at the start of the conference season with 3 consecutive losses."

Not because it couldn't happen, but because it isn't relevant.

When someone looks at Illinois State in March, they aren't going to say "this team lost 6 league games, but fell flat at the start of the conference season with 3 consecutive losses."

Not because it couldn't happen, but because it isn't relevant.

However, if they finish with 9 conference losses you will blame it on the start. Starting 0-3 in conference with 2 games being at home would be a great way to lose a lot of confidence. Although, even if they lose to Creighton today I don't think they need to worry about the Panthers this weekend with the way we have been playing on the road.

Oh and the line has moved to Creighton -1.5.

I wasn't able to see this game due to a temporary blindness I suffered when I watched a Drake Bulldog chuck in a 30 foot bomb off the glass. How did BJ deal with Illinois State's superior athleticism? It was a blowout right?

It was a win at the preseason #2 in the MVC with 4 players in double figures, Gibbs with 16 pts, 7 assists and 6 boards and the team shooting 52% from 3 with 6 players hitting a 3. Anyone still think we are a 1 man team?
