Bradley @ SIU

Bradley at SIU tonight...BU going for 2-0 in valley, SIU trying to avoid 0-2. Keep in mind BU's Egolf is in trouble and will miss game and probably many more. Hurts an undersized brave team as it is.

Prediction:
Bradley 57
SIU 55

A win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win is a win.

When you are Bradley and you haven't won a Valley road game in two years, you take the win, get out of town, and DO NOT apologize. Yeah, it was ugly. Yeah, it had some rough stretches but both teams played their asses off.

Walt Lemon was the difference. When he sat with foul trouble SIU made runs. When he was on the court SIU struggled to stop him (when he wasn't turning the ball over). Desmar Jackson got hot for SIU but struggled when Sims-Edwards got back on him. Also Jake Eastman made a couple nice shots.

Barry has SIU playing hard. I thought for sure when the Salukis grabbed the lead they would win but Lemon took over from there.

Bradley is in a first place tie :)

That was tough to watch. I'll take a win, but that looked like two Thursday night teams.

Bradley got the job done and hopefully can carry some momentum back to Peoria where they square off with WSU on Sunday. They need to figure out over the next few days of practice how to play without their big man or Sunday could be really ugly.

Didn't get to watch this uglyfest but we played without Dantiel Daniels as well. We wouldn't beat a high school team after missing ten free throws. Going to be a long season, with or without Dantiel.
