Huge games for Orukpe and Cleanthony. Shockers were tested to the end, but got the win.

So you are judging a team on watching one game? WSU is 15 - 1 and #23 in the country with 3 starters out, one out for the season now. What is the trees record?

Let me see if I can quote a Shocker fan that replied in the UE-MSU thread after UE had just beaten them.

Nice solid win over SIU tonight. Did they cover the spread?

Talk is cheap. In due course it will be proven one way or the other. Hopefully ISUB will continue to win until they play WSU so regardless of the outcome it doesn't hurt either team chances for at-large.

Sometime teams play over their head. Sometime teams don't play up to their capabilities. That is why they play the games. But regardless, WSU is 15-1 and and ranked and they get to regroup and find where their defense went.

Desmar Jackson had a pretty huge game too.

Great game by Early, very fun to watch. They needed them all!

SIU gave a gutsy effort but they are smaller than a typical high school team! :o

Good looking player and forgot how fun Barry is to have in the league. He always gives WSU a good game no matter how good his team is.

Great effort by SIU tonight, they just do not have the size or depth to win games right now, but a very fun game to watch nonetheless.
