Hate to be a Redbird for this one. Their chances took a drastic hit IMHO with the loss today. This WSU team is going to be extra hungry and focused. I realize ISUr might be hungry also, but really if they were going to get it I think it would have happened by now. They may still go on a run, but I don't think it will start Wednesday. Shox by 12.

Must win for the Shockers, maybe. Our season is done. Time for Muller to start seeing what he has in the cupboard for next year.

I hate to tell you this Redbirds but you must go down. Speaking of superbowls.. I'm sure coach Marshall will treat this game as a superbowl because it is a MUST WIN if our goals are to stay on track. Our goals being world collegiate domination of course.

It's gonna be a very painful "L" to whoever loses. Neither one can really afford a loss right now in their respective situations.

This is going to be an action packed game I am guessing. I of course watched Ill State playe the Bulldogs last week and Louisville a while back and they are not an 0-5 conference team. The conference is tough this year, tougher on some, no doubt. Stakes and dreams can change almost any night.

MUCH MUCH more painful if WS gets the "L"

Il St is already 0-5, 0-6 is not going to make that much difference.

So Redbird fans or players don't care about not winning a conference game? I would think they'd want to stop the bleeding as quick as possible. Again, when I said "respective situations", I was referring to each individual team. It'll hurt for either one.
