it doesn't make any sense at all with isur. 2 weeks ago they played at a very high level against cu and could have won the game if the ball had bounced differently here or there, and since then it has been meltdown city?? can college players pull off a mutiny against the 1st year coach? they have too many good players to have this going on.

shockers did not look much better. Between the fouling and the unforced turnovers we did our best to hand the game over. CU will eat us alive.

Shockers will be favored over CU and rightly so on their home floor. That said, I think CU has a pretty decent chance as the Shockers offense needs some polish. If WSU can ugly it up they have a better than even chance to pull even with the Jays. If the Jays win and get two clear of UE, WSU and ISUb with wins over all three, the jeweler will be itching to start etching on the championship trophy.

Traditionally, you need to get 8-9 wins to avoid thursday in STL.

ISU is going to have to go on a big run here just to have a shot at avoiding the bottom 4.

Career high in assists for both Tekele Cotton and Fred Van Vleet. 7 and 6 respectively in limited minutes.

Another horrible turnover night. Some encouraging things though:

Jake White looked pretty good in his 11 minutes. 11 points in this one for a career high and 10 rebounds in the loss to Evansville for a career high. Now he just needs to put it together consistently and he could log some good minutes.

Fred VanVleet was solid. 6 assists and only 1 turnover. One of his better games.

Tekele was outstanding again. 7 assists (career high) and 0 turnovers.

Carl looked pretty decent in his debut. Need to knock the cobwebs off offensively. But I'll take 10 rebounds from him first game out without a doubt!

CU will destroy WSU saturday if the continue to turn the ball over and play with the low IQ on shot selection in periods they had.

Jake White looked pretty good in his 11 minutes.
He can thank Carl Hall for blocking everybody out for him to get ball and the easy put backs.

Illinois State doesn't look well coached at all. They jack up bad shot after bad shot. Just no flow with their offense. WSU's defense wasn't bad, but they just aren't very good. If Jackie wasn't on the team, they'd be getting beat by about 20 a night. Not looking good for the Redbirds.

The turnover machine continues for WSU. Still resulted in 20-point leads and a near double-digit win, but that MUST settle down. The good thing is they are improving from their ridiculous totals they put up against SIU and Evansville. If they get settled down and get an IQ transfusion, they will be pretty freakishly good. Even with the dumbness, they're still 15-2. Not too shabby.

I have a feeling the defense will be there Saturday. It's the IQ and dumbness that has to be controlled. Thankfully, Creighton isn't a high-impact defensive team.
