Evansville with just 8 points in the first 14 minutes of the second half, trailing by 15.

I'm sure Marty will say how the team failed to execute his brilliant game plan as he usually does after each loss. Hey Marty, whose fault is it when 4 year players fail to execute the game plan?

No. He'd have to reach or possibly exceed Chris Lowery levels of fail to get fired.

How many contract years did Marty sign for when he was hired? Maybe they will not have to "fire" him if his contract runs out after this season. Maybe they can mutually agree that a new extension cannot be agreed upon. Six years is plenty of time to rebuild a program. If you cannot win in the MVC with 4 starting seniors, and one of them being Colt Ryan, then the coach is likely not going to win. The decline in attendance combined with a sub .500 record as the head coach is not acceptable.

This is the part that would trouble me as an Aces fan. No light in sight.

If it wasn't true, it would be funny.

Don't know. I don't believe any details of Marty's contract are public.
