Good enough for Indiana but not Illinois State, huh?

He's going to graduate school there. Really good student and Indiana has great business program so when they offered him scholly it was no brainer for him to accept.

I guess my question is...

We were told that he wasn't that good and wouldn't really play at Illinois State, yet he gets a scholarship at a B1G school.

There seems to be a disconnect there, no?

I agree I don't think he's a big ten talent, if he had stayed at ISU he would've been a backup shooting guard for us and most teams in the conference. I think IU wanted him more based on character and leadership to mentor the younger guys more than anything. Surprised me when I learned he would go there.

I would assume it has something to do with former ISU assistant coach Rob Judson being their new director of basketball operations.

I think Zeisloft is an iffy backup shooting guard, but I guess the thought process behind it is he could be a solid specialist who comes off the bench only to bomb 3s in the B1G. That said, IU is not necessarily in the best shape. They lost a recruiting battle over a top 100 player to freaking Bradley. Crean has to be desperate now, especially because this is his last scholarship to give for this year and next year's team (won't be cause kids are guaranteed to transfer now but unless something drastic happens, they don't have a spot to offer in November).
