After losing McDermott, Wragge, and Gibbs, CU is likely to pull a "Butler" next year in the formerlyBigEast.

UNL is likely to be a top 25 program. Gonna be interesting to watch CU's attendance numbers the next few years. Might be able to keep the sold-out arena if UNL doesn't have beer sales in their barn.

Why on earth are Creighton fans still lurking here? Really weird.

Who needs facts when you can just make s*** up? It is the Aargh school of posting. Always has been, always will be.

Who knew that Creighton expanded their arena by 3000 seats last year? Amazing what one can learn (or make up) on the internet.

Apparently a good way to make the valley successful is to tell people they cannot be fans of the league....

DJA: don't you agree that it's under utilizing resources if CU's ticket sale revenue is less than an arena that seats approximately 7,000 less? Isn't that an indication that CU didn't establish a good price point for their tickets? Perhaps dumping cheap tix on the market in order to inflate attendance numbers?
Additionally, who gets the concession money? CU or the city of Omaha or is it a mix?

I've never been that critical of CU, but you have to admit that CU has had an unusual amount of success at winning the MoVal tournament often at the expense of a team that probably would have had better success than the usual underperforming Jays at the NCAA tournament. The point being is that CU stole a lot of other team's chances to strengthen the MoVal. Thus excluding the inflated attendance figures, CU really didn't help enhance the MoVal's reputation.

Good luck next season. Heard you had a good year per CU's standards this past season. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see CU play this year as I don't get FS1.

Creighton did a lot better in the NCAA's this year. They won a game.

They beat the 3rd place team in the Sun Belt. Then they got blown out by 30 by the 6th place team in the B12. So, CU is continuing their pattern of not representing their conference well in the post season.

S16 is about where recognition begins. UNI, Bradley, and SIU have done their share historically, and I think those programs can get back there again. UNI taking out a #1 seed still gets some run in the national media.

Hey, technically, it was their most successful post season ever despite the 30 point loss. They were at least able to imagine playing on the second weekend for once.

I too like to follow the Valley. Have a lot of friends with all the fan bases. Here in Wichita though, the SN guys are a little wacked. When your dealing with the likes of Aargh, the dude dreams up things and convinces himself its fact. Always has. I've met RDR and he is literally the only active SN'er with a lick of sense.
Veritas, your logical, do your homework. CU has won their first round game the last 3 years. I doubt seriously you believe CU kept better teams or teams that could advance further out of the tourney. The rented gym, inflated this or that routine is old. CU has an exceptional strong fanbase. Check out the new recruits/transfer/returners Aargh. (Something new for you). CU will be fine. And I think the Valley will be much improved next year. Every team has picked up some promising recruits and the player exodus seems to have subsided.

Literally only one with a lick of sense?

This is your argument against made up facts and hyperbole?

Good effort.
