Each week we will open a poll for users to predict the end of season finish for the MVC 2014-15 basketball season. We will work in reverse order, concluding with the predicted MVC champion chosen by our users between the last two teams remaining in week 9.

The past 2 weeks have identified Illinois State and Evansville as the 5th and 4th place choices, respectively (results: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3856 )

Week 8 - Who will finish in 3rd place during the 2014-15 MVC mens basketball season?

I mean, as a Bears fan, I don't want to vote for the Bears because I want to be optimistic and say that will win the MVC and this will be our year...

...but let's be honest, MO State is the obvious #3 here.

I guess I missed the 4th place vote I believe there are 32 votes that determined the 5 spot . but they don't have an opinion on 4.

Lets have 4th place vote.....sounds rigged to me

No rigged polls on this site...however, there is another board on the college basketball landscape that is known for that sort of funny business. I'd rather have a 4th place poll, but no biggy...I think the mods are running this board just fine.

The previous votes for 5th (and 6th) place clearly showed that UE and ISU were going to be 4-5 (or 5-4) in the poll. Spending another week to confirm that UE was 4th wasn't necessary, so we decided to move onto 3rd place voting. This will allow us to get voting started on individual award sooner as well.

I think we should vote on whether or not to vote on 4th place.

Agreed. Just lock it down. The polls are speaking pretty clearly.
