For the Sycamores:

NOY Nominees: Tre Bennett (Has to fill the jake Odum void), Alex Etherington (Going for 6th man of the year, taking Khristian's Smith role from last season), Brenton Scott (Only if Tre can't handle starting PG and he takes over)

FOY: Alex Etherington, Brenton Scott, Laquarious Paige (If he does not redshirt)
In all honesty I think realisticly Alex is the only one with a legit shot. Brenton will only have a shot if he splits time with Tre and prove he can be effective.

Offers out of high school: Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado State, LaSalle
Offers out of JUCO: Washington State, New Mexico initially; Florida State, Florida Gulf Coast after decommitting from Wazzu

Committed to Washington State, but was released from LOI once Ken Bone was fired. Averaged 9 points and 8 rebounds at Moberly JUCO while shooting 58% from the field and 74% on FT. Helped Whitney Young to the 2009 IHSA Class 4 state championship, as well as a runner-up finish in the 2010 state tournament, averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds as a senior in 2011-12.

Sounds a lot like Tevin Glass, 6-8 206 JR PF

Offers out of high school from Auburn, Memphis, and Georgia. Offers out of JUCO to ASU, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, SLU, Nevada, and VCU. Averaged 12 and 6 as a sophomore. Averaged 15 and 11 for the Georgia 5A state champs as a senior in high school in 2011-12.

Rashard Kelly seems to be the most gifted, but he's playing behind Darius Carter at the 4. We could play Carter at the 5 to open up minutes for Kelly, but that may be playing a l ttle too small. That leaves either Nurger, Wamukota or Morris to take over at the 5. It could be another year of center by committee, which worked out pretty well last year. They all have talent but we have no idea who's going to step up and Marshall has been keeping the lid on practices this year.

Carter will get ~ 25 mpg. Although only 6-7.5, he weighs a legit 245 and has a 7-2 wingspan. He was 14th in the nation last year in fewest turn overs. Based on his size, quickness and hands, he can play either the 4 or the 5. Kelly will be the next best PF. Wamukota will be the next best C. Both will get at least 15 mpg. After that, minutes will depend on F Tevin Glass, F/C Shaq Morris and C Rauno Nurger. Whomever out of those three is able to get minutes will determine where Carter spends the majority of his time, and in turn, how many minutes Kelly gets.
