Wichita State Mid-Major?

I am really curious about everyones mentality on this subject as it relates to the Valley. We have seen Valley coaches regard WSU as high-major and several mid-major hoops sites refuse to list WSU as such. So to the rest of MVCFans, is WSU a high major, or just a successful mid major that will soon have struggles? Is WSU just a mid major with a high major coach, or will this success be long lasting, far beyond the next 15 years with HCGM?

WSU right now is about as mid-major as Memphis under Cal, DePaul under Meyer, and UNLV under Tark.
