Beginning our individual award predictions - Select the player that you believe will be named the 2014-15 Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year for men's basketball. While a freshman can be selected as Newcomer of the Year, for the purposes of this poll we have not included them.

Last year our users selected Zach Lofton of Illinois State as the NOY, but it was Milton Doyle who claimed the both the NOY and FOY awards.

Agreed. Gerring is our most likely candidate for NOY. And he looks like a good one.

I voted Wiley, but I am surprised by the list. I figured a non Bradley fan would have Josh Cunningham on the list even though I don't think he will be.

I was torn between Shaw and Wiley. With Purcell as a thought.

I would have voted for-

If he was on the list. He may take a while to shake off the rust. But I think he is talented if he can catch on to the system.

He is under the radar even if he played on the same team as Wiley but had better numbers.

You do realize the post specifically says that freshman weren't included on this list on purpose right?

I voted Purcell only because I'm a homer and didn't really know much about the other players. Go Redbirds! :Yea!:

I have no who half of these people are...but I'm yet to pick UNI in any of these polls. May as well go with someone who started a full year at Virginia...can't be that bad of a pick...right?

Better add Rauno Nurger to this list. He's gonna be a good one.
