Brandon Burnett, who would have seen significant minutes this season, is out for the year after a serious foot injury as a result of a traffic accident in a construction zone on I-70

Tough break for the Sycamores.

Thus far, Doyle and Burnett are out for a significant period or the whole season. Barnes is out for at least 3 games. Smithpeters might be done forever. Some of the projected bottom to mid-level teams are tough on their luck.

Wufan,

It always sucks when teams lose players. For the sycamores this means that we won't redshirt the 6'7 290 freshman Murphy. Also I think this increases Etherington's minutes as well as we will probably slide Khristian at the 4 at times. Even though Etherington isn't the best freshman out of the entire League's class he will have every opportunity to grab Freshman and Newcomer of the year because of this injury loss.
