Did Creighton win at the oh so glorious OU campus or was it at home? Which Valley team has played a home game against a ranked opponent?

Creighton is doing a very nice job staying near the caboose of NIT bubble eligibility. And here people thought they would be irrelevant after Doug left.

The NIT/CBI banners of these next few years will surely haunt those posters forever.

I wouldn't have minded it if Creighton had stayed but they are gone. At this time, UNI is ahead of Creighton in every RPI metric that I've seen and Evansville is at this time competitive. That possibly will change in the future this year but at this time Creighton may be no better than third and maybe fourth in the MVC had they stayed in our league. They should stay away from our board and worry about themselves.

I couldn't have said it any better. You hit the nail on the head. Creighton is gone. The coaches son is gone. They are irrelevant.

Well, we did beat Tulsa. Does that count?

Do the Coyotes of South Dakota count as a quality win?

That was a double-overtime beatdown.

WSU holds steady at 11 this week, UNI drops out (registering 65 votes, the equivalent of 29th).

Slow week ahead with lots of teams playing just 1 game. UNI's game against Iowa will be huge. Win that one and they may regain top 25 status before the calendar rolls over. Lose it and they will lumped in the category of (well-positioned, at least) bubble teams.

Shockers have just one game this week, at home against Alabama. Dick Vitale is calling the game and it should be a fun atmosphere. After that, it's off to Hawaii for the Diamondhead Classic next week.

WSU sticks at #11, UNI at #23. ILL State not in the rankings but are receiving votes for #10 by some coaches.

Good to have UNI back in there. Hope they can climb into the teens where a loss is sustainable.
