National Rankings 2014-2015

One more set of rankings to go. UNI has a decent shot at the top 10 for that game -- WSU probably can't get there.

Sympathies to UNI fans for having to deal with all the IowaSt/Iowa trolls on your board and in your towns. Sucks. I've had to give up on getting info off your board cause I'm already tired of the same weak arguments we've heard the past few years.

Iowa State fans are hilarious. They throw an absolute conniption fit when Iowa treats them like the paranoid little brother that they are and then as soon as UNI passes them in the polls they do the same thing.

It seems that teams that perform poorly on the road and play bad defense tend to have early exits in the Big Dance. If I was a Cyclone fan, I'd be concerned.

Wow I can understand the disrespect and hate towards their interstate rival UNI but these guys are bagging on WSU as much or more. I wonder if any of these numbnuts have even seen UNI or the Shox play this year?

Wow. What an insecure fanbase.

How could a "major" program be that much concerned about poll rankings? I don't think I've quite seen anything like it. Especially for Iowa State fans, whose teams have won 2 conference championships since the 30's. Talk about a mid major fanbase/program suck in a major conference. How embarrassing.

It's the only part of the year they truly have something to be proud of and hold over Iowa and UNI. We sure as heck know football season is not a fun time for them. The thought that they can't be #1 at something is like poison to some of those people.

I have to say though, that is far from the majority opinion from my experience. A good portion of ISU fans think they should be ranked higher but most of them are still really glad to see both teams in the Top 15 and Iowa sinking like the Titanic

With K-State winning tonight, you can add #9 in the country to the list of things UNI/WSU will be playing for on Saturday (if both take care of business mid-week).
