Just put together my bracket ... I've got WSU and UNI both making the Elite 8. I think UNI has a great shot against the weakest 1 seed.

If UNI and Virginia match up in the Elite 8, that's going to be the single ugliest game of the tournament.

That seems to be a theme across the selection process this year. There was little emphasis on rewarding the things that teams can control (noncon SOS, win % against good teams) and a massive over-emphasis on rewarding things teams don't control (conference SOS, quantity of games against top RPI teams).

I always say teams get bids, not conferences. But this year was alarming. UCLA getting that 4th Pac-12 team in, and Texas getting that 7th Big 12 bid. And the Mountain West had a terrible year and still got 3 in, and would've been 4 with Colorado St. Keeping Temple out keeps the A-10 down at 3. AAC only gets 2 in. SEC gets their 3 bubble teams in to get to 5.

UNI vs Wyoming isn't going to be pretty....except for the final result when UNI wins the game.

This that Morgan is going to prove a tough matchup for the Wyoming guards - probably on Josh Adams, their second leading scorer (responsible for about 20% of scoring - similar to Nance). Morgan has at least 3" on Adams.

WY is not a strong 3 PT shooting team, which should tilt to UNI

That, and Wyoming seems to have a fairly short bench, only going 6-7 deep.

They're in the best conference ever. Granted, they're losing in it and sitting in the Big East basement, but they're in it, damn it.
