A 7 may get us in Omaha which would be wonderful. That is assuming Wisconsin and Kansas stay as 2s.

Although I really don't care what seed. Would be nice to be somewhat high. I do think 4 or 5 is very dangerous though.

I would love to see this. For so many reasons. Not the least of which being that I believe UNI's team-wide control would drive ISU absolutely bonkers and lead to a UNI win.

Who would all of the Jayhawk fans in attendance root for? They would be like 6 year olds watching Freddy vs. Jason, peaking through their hands covering their eyes.

If it was a team like Evansville or Bradley (ok, terrible example but I couldn't resist) I'm sure they'd root for the Valley team. As it is, they'd side with their snobby friends.

I can promise you that if WSU or UNI is playing in Omaha, the crowd will be very pro-Valley. Remember, all the NCAA tickets are held by Creighton season ticket holders.

Fun fact. Using my latest field of 68 projections:

Bradley and Wichita St have beaten the same number of tournament teams (1 apiece)...and Bradley's win (CMU) is better than Wichita's win (NMSU).

Fun fact #2:

MAC is ahead of MVC in conference RPI. How?

They gamed the system with gaudy W-L records being passed around. I present to you, the projected non-conference strength of schedule numbers for the conference:

73 (Buffalo)
150 (Toledo)
206
234
272
292
299
308
312
318
323
348

Well, today took care of that

Also, this is off topic, but can someone explain Kansas St to me? I know they shouldn't be on the bubble but I can't help but think this is a stealth at-large team if they can crawl to 17-16. Am I insane?

K-State is either being undervalued because the Big 12 is just so dominant that anyone that is capable of occasionally holding home court deserves to an at-large; or the Big 12 is over-valued because 8 teams were artificially placed in the top 25 and they keep exchanging losses and perpetuating the myth.
