Salukis had a 5-point lead at the under-4 media timeout last night at Saint Louis and gagged down the stretch. Very disappointing. That said, SIU had major foul trouble all game (Beane only played 19 minutes) and still was in position to win on the road at sold-out (but rebuilding) SLU. O'Brien played very well; if he can maintain it, that would be big.

I'm not sure how good SLU is going to be this year, but that's an admirable performance on the road @SLU.

I'm afraid I might have to agree. I thought the sinking ship might resurface a little bit this year. But several of the teams that had a chance to rack up some wins are faltering, and there are about 4 complete boat-anchors. Like 250+ type teams. What a shame.

I have always enjoyed this thread. I appreciated your continued effort. There is a month to redeem what has happen early in the season. hopefully you'll drudge thru it.
