Bulldogs open the season at 2 PM today against Bowling Green.

No idea what to expect. With Ricks and Madison suspended, Bulldogs will be counting on freshman guards. BG's new head coach is former Wichita assistant Chris Jans.

Bowling Green looks a lot more talented on paper.

Drake getting blown up. 45-26 with about a minute to go in the first half.

BG has been on a pace to score 90 through the entire first half.

WSU-esque team, fundamentally sound.

Bulldogs got absolutely nothing from upperclassmen today. Gonna be a very long season if that keeps up. Credit to Bowling Green....they came out red hot and stayed that way for most of the game.

I didn't watch this game. Am I allowed to assume that a 19 point loss to a MAC team while shooting 37% is bad for Drake, or is this another situation where I really needed to watch this game to see all of the potential that just can't be seen with numbers?

Don't be ridiculous. It was either just 1 bad game, or Bowling Green is gonna be better then they have been in the past. Simple as that.

They could play this game ten times and the Bulldogs would never come within ten points.
