Wichita and Des Moines both get early round games. KC and omaha get regional finals. Very good to see.

Both Des Moines and Iowa? Truly shocking but great to reward fans in both locations.

Shox need to stay relevant until 2018.

If we can get a protected seed, we can play in Wichita, because we don't play enough games in the downtown arena to be eliminated from playing there. The next round would likely be in Omaha, which is getting 3rd and 4th rounds in 2018. F4 is in san Antonio, which is driveable from Wichita.

Our HUGE Fr class this year will be Sr's in 2018.

Edit: Wrong. WSU is co-hosting the event along with the MVC. That makes WSU ineligible to play in the event.

Did you mean to say Iowa? If so, I'm a bit confused.

Will WSU and Drake fans have first dibs on the tickets?

Drake, probably not. Iowa State is the host I believe, so they might. Wichita State might. It all depends on how the organizers and hosts choose to allot tickets. It is a wise move for the host team to give season ticket holders first crack. It really boosts sales and scarcity. It also recoup expenses quickly. Keep in mind that the NCAA gets a bunch of seats, plus each school in the region gets a block of tickets, therefore, a 16,000 seat arena may only have 9,000 seats to sell. In other words, a town like Wichita, if season ticket holders got first crack when they renewed season tickets, the event could potentially be sold out nine months prior to selection Sunday. The money would be in the bank right then. Drake, on the other hand, isn't hosting, so their season ticket holders get nothing.
