Knight 5 points 6 boards 4 assists
Hawkins 8 points
Purcell- 4 points

Why doesn't Muller play Man-to-Man? It seems so obvious that he should be running at least 50% MTM with this group.

ISU held them to 30-35% shooting & scored about 20pts off of turnovers in the half court. Why would they not play zone against this team?

It absolutely worked. Last year I understood it since they had no bigs. This year it looked like they could dominate the post in a MTM. Different philophy I guess.

at this point a 1 point victory by any team other than WSU or UNI is impressive

3-0 in those games on Sunday. SIU, ISUr, and Bradley all winners.

How big of a statement? Is Seton Hall good?

Seton hall hasn't been good in 25 years. They were picked ahead of Creighton in the big east although I saw that cu was ranked 23rd today so who knows?

If the goal is to keep Reggie on the floor, it's working somewhat through the first 3 games. The defense produces very few interior chances for the offense. His minutes played is up slightly (20.3-22.0), and his minutes per foul is also better (5.5-6.6). Obviously 3 games isn't much of a sample size.

A bigger statement than dropping one at home to Utah State?

Sounds like they have good young talent. I think someone on our board posted that they had the 12th best recruiting class in the nation. For how big of a statement I guess time would tell if we are fortunate enough to beat them.

That seems fair. I know Seton Hall has some young talent. Will be interesting to see how good the team ends up being. WSU plays Seton Hall in a couple weeks, so I'm very interested to see how both teams play tonight.
