Hawkins is invisible after playing such a solid game yesterday.

Plenty of time to right the ship for the birds. Gotta keep the lead from ballooning again and go on a run of their
own...

Gibbs hits two more deep deep threes to put lead up to 13 again. At least he's wasting all his threes on us so he won't hit any on the shockers??

Birds lose 84-80. We hit 4 or 5 threes last 2 minutes to hang in there. If they didnt go crazy from three hitting contested shots and 10ft beyond the arc threes we probably would've beat em. Refs were also very one sided. Poor start is what killed us. Sterling Gibbs had the game of his life lol

Tough when a guy goes off for 40. But 12-18 from 3 can happen when you decide zone is the way to go.

We played man about half the game. I'd say 2 of their 12 were open the rest were contested. Gibbs had about 4 of his from 7-10 feet past the arc nothing u can do on those no matter defense your in.

I didn't see the game, so I can't comment on how open the looks were. I will say that Seton Hall shot 26% above their season percentage from 3, while ISUr shot 30% above their season percentage from 3. Just an observation to consider when throwing hands up because the opponent was on fire for the night.
