Bored to death in the off season after finishing 2nd to last in the BIG EAST and just wanted to do some reminiscing?

NCAA pay units? Hahaha. There are teams in the Valley that are actually winning games in the tournament that are doubling and tripling the conference's payouts. Much better than the "just being there" mantra the Creighton program has established over its entire duration. Although given the BIG EAST's latest history, seems to be a perfect move for them.

There are a lot of good arguments to be made if one is pro-Creighton.

Going the NCAA-payout route is, quite obviously and hilariously, not one of them.

Anyone with an update on Evansville's OOC? The MVC needs them to schedule and perform well this year.

IIRC, last I heard they'd only released the details of one or two opponents other than their tournament in California. Who else is on the schedule?

We are notorious for not posting our OOC schedule until what seems like a month before tipoff.

Hell, last year we received season tickets in the mail about 5 days before the first game.

EDIT: Last year our OOC schedule was released on 08/18.

As far as i know we play Providence in the Wooden Classic, at Murray State, and at Fresno State. At home we have Belmont, Norfolk State, and SE Missouri St. The rest of the schedule is known only to God.

Nice- any return? Even if not, I am glad UE is at least putting together a slate that gives them a chance at an at-large if they compete well.

Agreed! This is the year that UE has a chance to really make a mark. What a great team on paper!

UNI-SFA selected for ESPN Tip-Off Marathon.

Tips at 7:00 AM in Cedar Falls on Nov 17th.

Good lord that's early... Sucks that ESPN would make two teams play that early two years in a row. This game turned out to be a crucial early win for UNI last year.
