Cool. Looks very nice. Decent but beatable teams for a UNI team that will probably take a small step back next year (small step back from Top 20-ish could still be a very good club).

Hopefully that field doesn't tank as hard next year as the one this year has. Preseason, Nebraska, Colorado and George Washington were all getting run on the fringe of the top 25. Not so much now. It still won't be a stinker of a tournament, but there also don't really appear to be any marquee matchups available.

You feel pretty safe with BYU and Oklahoma. Bruce Pearl should get Auburn going in the right direction and New Mexico won't be a killer. Washington State, Hawaii, and a rebuilding Harvard don't offer much value...

Agreed. Looks solid if unspectacular across the board. Good tourney for next year.

Indiana State playing in the 2015 Paradise Jam tourney in the US Virgin Islands per the ISU board, Gawd I hope we are better next season than we're going to be this season.

The eight NCAA division I men’s basketball teams participating in the 16th annual event include DePaul, Florida State, Indiana State, Hofstra, Norfolk State, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tulsa

We also play at Butler

unsure if we'll continue our series with Ball State, Eastern Illinois, UMKC, and IUPUI, but I'd suspect we would.

That's a pretty craptastic Paradise field

Need a match-up against MSU or Zona. A senior laden UE team might just make some noise next Holiday season!

Indiana State's non conference schedule is nearly done, still have maybe 2 games to schedule

Home

Exhibition game before season
D2/D3 team (Truman State?)
11/13 IUPUI
12/9 Valparaiso (1st game of a 4 year contract with Valpo)
Ball State
Wyoming

Away

at Butler
12/13 @ Western Kentucky

Neutral

11/21 at Paradise Jam (other teams DePaul, Florida State, South Carolina, Hofstra, Norfolk State, Ohio, and Tulsa) (yes, we know, a crappy field)
11/23 at Paradise Jam (if in losers bracket, we play 11/22)
11/24 at Paradise Jam

The confirmed games for the Redbirds are home vs. UAB and Murray State, and Maryland and TCU/Rhode Island in the Cancun Challenge. Redbird Recon hears we are playing @ SDSU (assuming thats the MVC/MWC challenge).

Muller wouldn't comment on anything else in the last article in the Pantagraph but said there is a "strong chance" we play a guarantee/buy game vs. a big name opponent. That's a pretty solid start for the Birds.

Hoping for a few more home & homes vs. some solid mid-majors (someone on RBF heard Creighton and Butler are possibilities)... Such a far cry from the Jank years- now we just have to win some of these games!

UNI is back to our insanely difficult scheduling ways.

Diamond Head Classic is our exempt tournament. (BYU, Oklahoma, Harvard, Hawaii, Auburn, New Mexico, Washington State). We're also playing at New Mexico as the 4th game of the tournament.

Away- George Mason, Richmond

Home- SFA, Probably North Carolina

Neutral-Iowa State in Des Moines

We're playing North Dakota for sure, just don't know where but it seems like it should be in Grand Forks. We have a Home game for the Mountain West Challenge.

I'm usually against Valley teams taking buy games, but I'm kind of for it for IlSt next year. They're going to have a good team.

Good looking schedules so far.
