Tough loss for the Panthers. A couple of questionable/inconsistent calls very late that went against UNI, some silly defensive slips, poor free throw shooting early with VCU shooting >10% better than average, just too much for Panthers. Way to represent the Valley Panthers.

Rough day. I was thinking 5-2 at the outset. WSU trailed by double digits in the second half at Detroiit, and we were playing catch up all day long from there. Glad my Ramblers took care of business.

I doubt VCU will jump back into the top 25 but we are almost certainly going to drop out. VCU only has 6 votes and they barely beat the 23rd ranked team in their own backyard. They also only played one game last week. Most teams above them in the polls played two and won both.

And I don't think UNI will drop far. We split two relatively tough road games and our loss was to a formerly ranked team in double OT.

Other than the Evansville debacle at home, things went about as expected. Indiana State keeps blowing early leads which sucks. UNI looked very respectable, despite the loss. WSU took care of business, and even MSU got a rare road win.
